Geta are a traditional type of footwear.
The lasts were made from scratch, creating a modern take on the traditional geta footwear.
The upper is made of genuine leather (Tochigi leather), which is not normally used very often.
The sole is made by Vibram, a world-renowned brand.

Size range: 22.5cm~28.0cm unisex

Made in NARA

The thongs, which require skill, are made by experienced craftsmen and each pair is carefully manufactured at our own factory in Yamatokoriyama City, Nara Prefecture, which was founded 71 years ago.

More than 50 years ago, a pair of leather shoes was very expensive and customers would cherish and wear that pair. For shoemakers, this was a joy and a source of pride. As time passed, the sense and needs for "leather shoes" changed, but we at Empire Shoes Dehara Shoemaking have inherited the passion of the craftsmen who made shoes up until now, and we aim to make shoes that our customers will want to cherish.

Since our founding, we have been committed to using genuine leather and have been selling European-style traditional and soft business shoes. As they are made from natural materials, no two pairs are exactly alike. We value the natural texture and make the most of the individuality of the leather to create a one-of-a-kind pair of shoes.
